Judy Gingell on Together Today for our Children Tomorrow

On February 14, 1973, a delegation of Yukon First Nations leaders presented Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau with Together Today for our Children Tomorrow.

The document laid out grievances from Yukon First Nations people against the Government of Canada. With that presentation, they laid the foundation for Yukon First Nations land claims and self-government agreements.

Kwanlin Dün First Nation Elder Judy Gingell was in Ottawa for the historic day, representing the Yukon Native Brotherhood as its secretary/treasurer.
