Changing the Yukon's governance landscape
With close to half of the modern treaties in Canada, the Yukon is at the forefront of modern treaties and self-government in Canada.

Umbrella Final Agreement
The Umbrella Final Agreement was the framework for negotiating individual Yukon First Nation agreements. It defined the amount of land and financial compensation for each First Nation, and called for the creation of boards and committees to provide community input and recommendations to government.

Together Today for Our Children Tomorrow – 50th anniversary speaker series
In February 2023, the Council of Yukon First Nations hosted a Potlatch celebrating the 50th anniversary of Together Today for Our Children Tomorrow. Part of the week-long celebrations included a daily speaker series featuring Indigenous local leaders in discussions with Grand Chief Peter Johnston. There are 19 videos in this series ranging in length from 20 to 60 minutes.
